Please join the MiGCSA for the annual Western Golf Day Fundraiser for the MiGCSA Foundation. The money raised at all three MiGCSA Fundraisers go directly back to supporting the Turf industry in the state of Michigan. From donations to the Michigan Turfgrass Foundation to help fund cutting edge research, funding for student scholarships, and donations to foundations like the Wee One Foundation which helps superintendents in need from medical hardship. 
 
This years event will be hosted by MiGCSA member Colin Romanick at the historic Blythefield Country Club in Belmont. Blythefield has hosted tournaments such as the 1953 Western Amateur, the 1961 Western Open, which was won by Arnold Palmer, and the 2005 Western Junior.

Join the North District and MiGCSA Board Member host Superintendent Scott Pulaski in the annual Tuck Tate golf tournament on September 21st with special guest Dr. Joe Vargas, and a presentation on   Snow Mold Control: Life After PCNB.   Tuck Tate founded the Northern Michigan Turfgrass Managers Association in 1971 and was the first NMTMA Vice President.

This will be the 25th year for this event now open for everyone in the state to come "up north" and play at one of Michigans top golf resorts. This is an individual stroke play event with prizes for low gross and net, and prizes for low team net score. For more history on Tuck Tate the tournament and the NMTMA click here.
