    What do healthy, stable plants require in their root zones? We'll discuss organic matter content, profile good soil conditions compared to poor soil characteristics. Mulching, soil amendments and tools for improving poor soil conditions using an Air Spade will be covered.

    You'll learn what  Drift Management Practices are required and how you can protect yourself, your clients and the environment. Michigan Drift Management Plan and Pesticide Label verbiage explained.

    Beginning inside, Best Management Practices for Tree Injections discussed including appropriate & ethical use of injection applications. Move Outdoors to participate in actual tree injection demonstration using three commonly used tree injection techniques -Wedgle; Micro- Arborjet; Macro- Rainbow Tree care Scientific.

    Join MSU's favorite pathologist and entomologist as they guide you through the grounds of Grand Traverse Commons identifying plant health issues.  Biotic and Abiotic problems addressed and what you can do about them. (This session will be repeated at 3:40pm).
