Swan Valley is located West of Saginaw Township in Thomas Township. It has some of the area’s best rolling terrain, Swan Creek River runs along its southern border. Swan Valley has 36 holes designed and redesigned by Jerry Matthews. “A challenging, yet fair picturesque golf course. In 2019 was reevaluated by G.A.M. Has four sets of tees and fifth Hybrid set. Its sister course is Crooked Creek golf & Banquet on the South side of M-46 While Swan Valley Golf & Banquet is on the North side. There is a South and North tee line Driving range in between.
Job Description:
- Supervise and schedule staff and all aspects associated on a day-to-day basis.
Ability to operate all machinery and be capable of teaching the same skills to
others. - Able to apply and have knowledge of pesticides and fertilizers as needed.
Knowledge of diseases and triggers. Preventive mindset along with curative
knowledge. - Have strong organization and planning skills
- Training and supervise skills pertinent to team effort and implementing goals/
procedures. - Strong problem-solving skills, ability to create a multitude of solution. Prioritize
and implement such. - Willing to work any time. Around events such as large tournaments, adverse
weather - Hands on and hard work ethic
- Understanding the irrigation systems
Requirements:
2 or 4 year degree in Turf Management
Michigan Pesticide Operators license
Michigan Drivers license
