The Northern Wee One Invitational

The first ever Northern Wee One Invitational held at Boyne Mountain on June 2nd & 3rd sold out in less than one day thanks to our tiered industry partners. The goal of this event is to raise $30,000 for the Wee One Foundation. Any remaining proceeds will help fund scholarships, donations, and philanthropic turf related interests like turf research and the MSU Turf Club.

Overall Two Day Total Winners

Shooting a 19 under total of 125 our winners were Chris Cummings, Scott Mincher, Brett Roberts & Brian Roberts winning in a dramatic and very competitive chip off over the second place team of Dave Pentelow, Ryan Weaver, Greg Lovell & Grant Sassaman who were tied for 1st place. Coming in third for the two day totals were Blake Thomasma, Ryan VanZyll, Will Paulus & Cam Copley with a total of 18 under 126. The third place tie was broken by the day two score.

Round One, The Monument G.C.
The winners of the round one scramble were Adam Palmatier, Ben Keeler, Kevin Haack & Matt Chapman shooting 61. Second place went to Dave Pentelow, Ryan Weaver, Greg Lovell & Grant Sassaman with a 62 and in third place with a 62 Jim Higgs, Jesse Shaver, Doug Ware & Adam Ikamas. An Eagle 3 on hole #1 by Jim Higgs, Jesse Shaver, Doug Ware & Adam Ikamas won the only skin on day one for $3,000! 

Round Two, The Alpine G.C.
The winners of the round two scramble were Blake Thomasma, Ryan VanZyll, Will Paulus & Cam Copley with a 61. Coming in second was Gordon LaFontaine Jr., Cameron LaFontaine, Matt LaFontaine & Gordie LaFontaine III shooting 62 and in third place Chris Cummings, Scott Mincher, Brett Roberts & Brian Roberts with a 62. An Eagle on hole #12 by Ryan Holmes and Team Gaylord C.C. won the only skin on day two for $3,000!
