EAST LANSING, MI–Ron Osborne was announced as the sole member of the 2025 Michigan PGA Hall of Fame Induction Class. He was recognized at the Michigan PGA President’s Dinner on Sunday, October 19th at The Graduate Hotel East Lansing as well as the Section’s Fall Meeting on Monday, October 20th at Eagle Eye Golf Club.
Osborne has been a PGA Member since 1992 and recently retired from the General Manager and Head Golf Professional position at Binder Park Golf Course in Battle Creek, MI.
A passionate advocate for junior golf, Ron dedicated eight years as Chairman of the Michigan PGA Junior Golf Committee, earning recognition as the Junior Golf Leader of the Year in both 2000 and 2001. Under his leadership, Binder Park also hosted the PGA Junior League State Championships five times in the past six years.
Ron’s leadership extends beyond the course. He has held leadership roles within both the Western Chapter and the Michigan PGA Section, including Secretary, Vice President, and President (2016-17) of the Section. His dedication and professionalism were recognized when he was named the Michigan PGA Section Golf Professional of the Year in 2012.
In 2019, Ron continued his service to the profession on the national level as the District 5 Director for PGA of America. His career reflects a lifelong commitment to the game, its players, and fellow professionals. |
