Carey Mitchelson was born to be a golf course superintendent just like his Dad. A 1979 graduate of the MSU Turfgrass Program he is the General Manager at College Fields in Okemos, the Executive Director of the Michigan Turfgrass Foundation and the 2025 GAM Superintendent Award of Merit winner.
