TJW Inc. operates the 3 City of Livonia 18 hole golf courses. Fox Creek, Whispering Willows and Idyl Wyld. All 3 courses provide different atmospheres and learning experiences. There will be opportunities to work at each of them.
This is a key position and second in command within the Golf
Course Maintenance Department. Works directly with the Golf
Course Superintendent to help develop a daily work schedule and
coordinate the related activities and necessary equipment with the
staff. Training, supervision, and reviewing of golf course
employees along with supervision of construction projects and
specific maintenance activities on the golf course and club
grounds, fall under the Assistant Superintendent’s duties.
2 or 4 year degree in Turf Management preferred, but not required
Is capable of the proper application of pesticides and fertilizers.
Michigan Pesticide License or Ability to Obtain One
