Description
Anuew™ is a proven plant growth regulator breakthrough, saving superintendents time with less mowing and fewer clippings while improving the overall playability of greens, tees and fairways. Labeled for cool- and warm-season turf management, Anuew is a late-stage inhibitor with a novel mode of action that can be used on all managed turf areas to improve turfgrass quality, density and appearance. Anuew is more active and longer lasting than other late-stage growth regulators on cool-season turf, providing more regulation activity at lower doses. It is also the only PGR that can evenly regulate Poa in mixed stands.
KEY USES
- Golf course turf
- Warm-season turf: Hybrid Bermudagrass, Zoysiagrass, St. Augustine sp., Paspalum sp., Kikuyugrass sp.

- Parks and cemeteries
- Residential and commercial lawns
- Sod farms
- Sports fields
COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES
- More active and longer lasting on cool-season turf
- Faster regulation in warm-season turf
- Helps evenly regulate Poa in mixed stands

USE SUMMARY
Apply Anuew™ when turf is green and actively growing. Re-application of Anuew should be based on a Growing Degree Day (GDD) model using environmental data from the use location. Research has shown that 280-350 GDD should be used for re-application timings for common golf situations. Apply in sufficient volume of water to provide uniform and complete wetting of the turfgrass foliage.
6 REASONS WHY ANUEW IS WORTH THE SWITCH
REASON #1 – EXTENDED CONTROL
REGULATE LONGER // COOL-SEASON TURF
Anuew™ delivers longer growth regulation (300 GDD) than Primo Maxx® (200 GDD) on creeping bentgrass greens.
B. Kreuser, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, 2015 | Creeping Bentgrass
REASON #2 – FEWER CLIPPINGS
REDUCE MOWING // ALL TURF TYPES
Anuew™ reduces turf growth and mowing frequency resulting in fewer clippings and reduced clipping dry weight.
Dykema and Vargas, Michigan State University, 2014 | Penncross Creeping Bentgrass | Applied June 6; Results June 19
REASON #3 – EVEN REGULATION
IMPROVE UNIFORMITY // COOL-SEASON TURF
With a unique metabolism that strongly regulates fast-growing Poa, Anuew™ is the only Class A inhibitor to evenly regulate Poa in mixed stands.
Maximum Suppression, Poa Focus | J. Borger, Penn State University, 2016
REASON #4 – MORE ACTIVE
GAIN VALUE // COOL-SEASON TURF
On bentgrass, Anuew™ delivered nearly 20% more vertical growth suppression than Primo Maxx® at less than half the dose and achieved 38% regulation using only 16.1 oz/Acre.
B. Kreuser, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, 2015 | ‘L-93’ Creeping Bentgrass Fairway | Applied June 19 and August 11 | Final Clippings Collected September 15
REASON #5 – FASTER SUPPRESSION
SUPPRESS QUICKLY // WARM-SEASON TURF
In Bermudagrass trials at NCSU, TN and GSSU, peak suppression occurred at approximately 95 GDD for Anuew™ compared with Primo Maxx® at approximately 170.
REASON #6 – VISIBLY IMPROVED
GET GREEN-UP // ALL TURF TYPES
Anuew™ is a Class A late-stage inhibitor. It shifts carbs to plant roots for improved quality, density and appearance.
